The Radiator Booster® ULTRA is designed to be the most efficient and discreet way to circulate trapped heat into your room. Follow these simple steps to set up your device and maximise your energy savings.
1. Positioning the Unit
-
Placement: Place the unit on top of your radiator. It is designed to work with most standard radiators, including single, double, and convection styles.
-
Security: The ULTRA features integrated magnets and gravity-weighted stability feet. Ensure these make contact with the metal surface of your radiator to hold the unit firmly in place.
-
Airflow: Ensure the vents are not obstructed by curtains or furniture to allow the heat to project forward into the room efficiently.
2. Power & Charging
The ULTRA is our premium cordless model, giving you the freedom to use it without trailing wires.
-
Cordless Use: The built-in 5200mAh battery provides between 8–20 hours of runtime on a single charge.
-
Continuous Power: You can also leave the unit plugged in permanently using the provided 2-meter USB cable. If your nearest socket is too far away, the device is compatible with standard USB extension cables or portable power banks.
3. Operating Modes
The device features a simple switch system to suit your lifestyle:
-
Automatic Mode (Recommended): Switch to Auto. The device will remain in 'sleep' mode until it detects the radiator surface temperature reaching 33°C (91°F). It then activates the fans to circulate heat. Once the radiator cools down, it automatically switches off to save battery.
-
Manual Mode: You can switch the device to On for continuous operation, regardless of the radiator temperature.
4. Cleaning & Maintenance
-
Dusting: Over time, dust may settle on the unit. Simply wipe the exterior with a dry, lint-free cloth.
-
Internal Fans: Occasional use of a vacuum cleaner nozzle or compressed air can help keep the internal brushless motors free of dust buildup, ensuring they remain whisper-quiet (<38dB).
Troubleshooting Tips
-
Unit not turning on in Auto? Ensure your radiator is hot to the touch. The thermostat triggers at 33°C. If the radiator is lukewarm, the booster may remain in standby.
-
Battery running low? If using cordlessly, we recommend charging the unit fully before the start of the winter season or during periods of non-use.
